DYD YACHT DESIGN
We strive to pay maximum attention to the aesthetic values of the final product, always taking into account the needs of the industrialization of the product; in fact, today more and more luxury yacht yards and individual customers are trying to limit costs and at the same time carefully control the construction time of the product.
In other words, we try to find solutions together with the customer that best provide the basis for the product at the production stage, allowing, if necessary, to manufacture a significant number of finished yacht components outside the shipyard. In this forecast, the product will have a more controlled production price and some time frame for the implementation of quality control of the product.
Every boat builder strives to provide the best yacht at the lowest production cost, but within this philosophy there is a need to control the quality standards of each unit of production, and therefore there is a need to organize the internal technical office of the shipyard in such a way that it responds well to the industrial structure.
Our studio works together with the technical resources of the shipyard to support the transition from purely artisanal construction to semi-industrial construction.
The studio uses special software for creating production plans, as well as classic IT tools for 3D and 2D design, giving the customer the opportunity to control the yacht design process at any time. In particular, when signing the contract, checkpoints of the product and idea are already established in order to avoid interpretation errors that could lead to unnecessary disagreements with the customer.
