Lady Goodgirl
Lady Goodgirl is a unique classic luxury yacht and one of the few surviving classic gentlemen’s yachts of her era. She was built by Hall Russel in 1964. She is powered by Caterpillar engines of 650 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 12.5 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. Lady Goodgirl’s maximum range is estimated at 2600 nautical miles. The motor yacht can accommodate 11 guests in 5 cabins with an interior design by Susan Puleo and an exterior design by Philip Rhodes.
Unusually for the time of her build she has a generous beam and is therefore unusually spacious for her age. This leaves her, uniquely amongst her peers, as a very practical, usable yacht which has genuine vintage charm that also enjoys a master suite on the main deck, a full sundeck saloon and massive open deck spaces.
She has been impeccably maintained and is complimented by magnificent period detail throughout. Yet, underlying this is a fully modern engine room with fully updated machinery and systems including zero speed stabilisers. Since her purchase in 2010 by the current owner she has enjoyed an almost unlimited budget of annual winter refit works.
